Expected format

One coupon per line, four columns in this order:

coupon_code: The vendor's code, at least 6 characters. Stored encrypted; a hash catches duplicates.
redemption_link: Optional URL the participant opens to redeem.
face_value: Whole HK dollars. This study pays HK$30.
type: Defaults to the study's coupon type (Octopus top-up) when blank.

Separators: comma, tab, semicolon or pipe. Quotes around values are stripped.

What happens to the codes

They are never listed in plaintext again. Staff and participants see a masked value; a single code can be revealed on request, and every reveal is recorded in the audit log.
