Expected format

One coupon per line. Only the first two columns are read - the face value and the type belong to the batch, and you set them beside the file:

coupon_code: The vendor's code, at least 8 characters. Stored encrypted; a keyed hash catches duplicates without keeping a code in the clear.
redemption_link: Optional URL the participant opens to redeem. It redeems the coupon on its own, so it is encrypted too.

What happens to the codes

They are never listed in plaintext again. Staff and participants see a masked value; a single code can be revealed on request, and every reveal is recorded in the audit log.
